This Wednesday evening ABC staged a reality show in which the Senator from Illinois was subjected to a question from an actor hired from a casting agency that specializes in gross stereotypes of middle America.
The agency did a great job with the costume, hair, back drop and the best part, a delightful flavor of jingoism that says "I don't really want to spend time getting to know you, but I react well to shiny objects that vacantly tell me all I want to know anyway."

Since I was spared watching this reality show (thank you merciful Top Chef), I am now told that this is not an actor hired by ABC or Sean Hannity (I'm also told he wrote some of the script for that night), but an authentic voter from Pennsylvania.
